Why does "Alpha Centauri: Alien Crossfire" cost so much?
I want to buy the expansion pack for the game called "Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri" called "Alpha Centauri: Alien Crossfire" for the pc, but for some reason it costs like 75 dollars on every site that I have looked at. If anyone knows why this is, or how to get it cheaper, please tell me.
It is expensive for several reasons. First of all, it is out of print: they don't make it anymore, so it is rare. Secondly, it was released only in the UK, further limiting its distribution and production numbers. Third, it's the expansion to possibly the greatest game of all time! Few people would be willing to give it up. Unfortunately, the only way you'll be able to get it is by either shelling out the big bucks, or downloading it 'illegally' from a website like the pirate bay or isohunt.
